Mike has been a meatcutter for nearly 28 years and is a master at the art of cutlery. He has been featured on CBS’s Dan Dinacola’s World and in several articles by Fred Labrun of the Albany Times Union. His true passion, has been perfecting many old time smokehouse recipes.
Cathy has a background as a Registered Nurse and has been in the Marketing, Advertising and Business Management field. She is past producer, editor, publisher and graphic designer of the publication "Chatham Business", and is the Broker for her Real Estate Firm "VirtuRealty Associates" located in Chatham Center.

Ryan 21 & Josh 20, our sons, have joined the family business. Having grown up all their lives participating in the entire process of Tator's Butcher Shoppe, they have joined us in our endevour!
The Butcher Shoppe began in 1988 processing venison for local hunters. Over the last 21 years it has grown to include a variety of operations. Including Fine food vending & catering. Fall continues to be our busiest season, processing livestock for local farmers and processing several hundred deer per year, followed by our custom smoking season of specialty items.
